Our story so far….

Foxgloves of Birchington is proud to be an independent florist, owned and managed by Sophie.

With over 20 years of floristry experience, Sophie is passionate about creating beautiful, natural floral designs and providing exceptional customer service. Her journey began as a Saturday assistant in her local flower shop, where her love of flowers blossomed. She went on to develop her skills through professional training and holds a number of accredited floristry qualifications, including the Level 4 Higher Diploma (ICSF).

Sophie is supported by a wonderful team of talented florists – Jo, Rita, Becca and delivery driver Jodie – who share her passion for flowers and commitment to creating beautiful arrangements with care and attention to detail. Together, they take pride in helping customers celebrate life's special moments with stunning floral designs and a friendly, personal service.

Our shop is stocked daily with beautiful seasonal flowers, foliage and houseplants, carefully sourced from British growers wherever possible, as well as trusted suppliers in Holland. We also stock a handpicked range of soy wax candles, botanical reed diffusers, and beautifully illustrated gift cards and wrapping paper by local artist Molly Pickle.

From everyday bouquets to weddings, funeral tributes and seasonal collections, we love offering something a little different and look forward to welcoming you into our shop.
